struggling is not failure

Eating disorder support in your pocket.

You're exhausted from constantly feeling like you’ve tried everything and you are still struggling.

It’s like you can never do “the Right thing”.

If you follow your meal plan, the eating disorder is angry. If you have one “slip”, the recovery part is shaming you. There is no winning and the people in your life don’t get it. They make body comments, food comments, and tell you about the new diet they are trying. You just want to scream or disappear.

Coaching offers in-the-moment support. We discuss what support looks like in the moment, we set clear expectations around communication, and you take the brave step to send a message in the midst of the spiral. You get back a response that makes you feel seen and understood, you take a breath, and then you move forward. You start having small behavioral wins, we celebrate YOUR hard work and we keep moving forward.

I’m here for you.

You’re allowed to take up space and speak up for what you need.

Imperfectly Perfect Healing started as a coaching program rooted in health-at-every-size principles. It has grown into a practice of liberation and system work. The systems (patriarchy, white supremacy, able-ism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, imperialism, diet-culture, wellness culture) are doing exactly what they are designed to do. It is my honor to join you on your journey to become free of those systems and to move back into love.

Here’s what we’ll do together

Coaching for eating disorders & body image distress can help you take the next kind step.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens with small, scared actions aligned with who you are. Over time, those actions become closer together. Over time, you notice an increase in your ability to tolerate distress. Over time, you begin thinking about the word “self-compassion” without having a visceral reaction. Your eating disorder does not make you bad, weak, or lacking in willpower. It also is not something you are doing for attention (no matter what that voice might be whispering to you).

You are struggling with a serious mental health condition. You might even know someone who has lost their battle to their eating disorder. Let me hold that pain and sadness and rage with you while we work on what we can do today. Let’s brainstorm brave conversations to have with your therapist. Let’s grocery shop together. Let’s search for accessible recipes together. Let’s make your recovery meaningful, together.

When all is said and done, here’s the thing:

You are more confident and liberated in your choices and your life.

What we’ll work on

Imagine a life where…

01you feel energized throughout the day

With consistent nutrition, your body has the energy it needs to fuel you and your body throughout the day.

02you can feel confident in your decisions

Or at least check in throughout the day if Ana, Ed, Gollum, or “that bitch” is trying to sway your mind in a different direction.

03you have the space & time torediscover yourself

You know your values and have the space to explore how those behaviors show up in actions. You start moving, at your pace, in a direction most aligned with who you want to be.

Reignite the recovery you’ve been longing for.

Change is possible. I’ll help you get there.

FAQs

  • Coaching is rooted in the here and now. Therapy gets at the roots. While you can do therapy without a coach, I do not do coaching without a therapist. Coaching is an addition to a team, not the entire team itself.

  • Cost varies based on need, scheduling availability, and services provided. Right now, there is no waitlist and services can be provided for as little as $25/month.

  • Virtual check in sessions between 15-60 minutes, meal/snack support, 1:1 HIPAA messaging, grocery support, meal prepping, recipe browsing, team searching, and anything else that might be missing from traditional therapy or nutrition services

  • At this time, I do not work with any insurance services to ensure I can meet those I work with where they are at without insurance denying what we can or cannnot do.
